Regional Managing Director Americas, Bain & Company
Bill Neuenfeldt is the Regional Managing Director of the Americas for Bain & Company. He is a leader in Bain’s global Private Equity, Technology and Strategy Practices where he advises clients on full potential transformations, corporate and business unit strategy, and M&A due diligence.
As Regional Managing Director, Neuenfeldt oversees strategy and operations in North and South America and works closely with his counterparts in EMEA and APAC, as well as the firm’s practices and partners, to build the firm globally. He previously held several firm leadership roles including head of global consultant recruiting from 2006-2009 and managing partner of the New York Office from 2009-2015.
Prior to joining Bain in 1997, Neuenfeldt served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where he was a Program Manager for advanced technology programs. In 2015, he was named to Consulting magazine’s annual “Top 25 Consultants” in recognition of his client and firm leadership. He recently co-authored the gender parity report, Everyday Moments of Truth, a study on women’s career development that was featured at the 2015 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.
Neuenfeldt holds an MBA from Harvard Business School with high distinction as a Baker Scholar, as well as a bachelor’s degree in science and engineering and a master’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics from Stanford University.
