Alec Oxenford is an Argentine serial entrepreneur focused on the Internet Space. In January 2015, he launched “letgo” with co-founders Jordi and Enrique - a p2p classifieds app targeting the USA and Europe.
In March 2006, Oxenford also co-founded OLX.com with business partner Fabrice Grinda. He leads both companies from Buenos Aires, NY and Barcelona. With over 200 million monthly unique users, OLX is the #1 online classifieds player in Brazil, India and several other Emerging Markets in Asia, Latin America and Africa.
Prior to OLX, in 1999, Oxenford co-founded DeRemate.com which was sold to eBay in 2005. In 2003, he also co-founded DineroMail.com.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Oxenford worked as a business consultant for BCG in Europe and Latin America.
Oxenford is President of ArteBA Foundation in Buenos Aires and is an avid contemporary art collector. He was elected Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and graduated with an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School (‘97).
