Gonzalo Lissarrague joined the company in 1991 as a trainee at La Ley, held a number of positions in editorial marketing, sales and strategy, and played a key role during La Ley´s acquisition by Thomson in 2000.
Lissarrague led the reengineering of the structures and processes, to drive the launch of online products, for which he was recognized with the Award of Excellence, granted to the most successful projects of the Corporation.
In January 2004, Lissarrague was appointed Managing Director of La Ley and in 2008 he received the Konex Award for his outstanding leadership among the Services, Banking and Commercial industries.
In 2010, as Senior Vice President of Latin America he led the regional development, numerous acquisitions and explosive growth in the region. He worked in close collaboration with all Business Unit leadership to expand the success he had in building the business in Argentina through several acquisitions and new ventures in Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Spain.
In December 2013, he was appointed President of Global Growth Organization (GGO) where his focus is on accelerating growth across Financial & Risk, Legal and Tax & Accounting in emerging markets.
