Regional Manager Latin America and the Caribbean, The Economist Intelligence Unit
Ms. Fiona Mackie is manager of the Economist Intelligence Unit's team of Latin America analysts. She has, in her ten years at the EIU, covered all of the region's major economies and regions, with an emphasis on Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela and the Caribbean. Her current focus is on the Mercosur countries.
In her work, Ms. Mackie covers the short- and long-term political, policy and economic outlook for Latin America, as well as sovereign risk, operational risk, and custom research on the region for corporate and government clients.
Ms. Mackie has studied at the University of Chicago (BA, political science) and University of London (MSc, financial economics).
