Marcelo Mindlin

Founding Partner & Chairman, Pampa Energía


Marcelo Mindlin is one of the founding partners and chairman of Pampa Energía since 2006.

Pampa Energía, the largest independent integrated energy company in Argentina, is controlled by Grupo EMES, a company founded in 1989 by Mindlin, serving as founding partner and chairman. Grupo EMES is one of the largest private equity and institutional investors in Argentina. EMES is also the controlling shareholder of Grupo Orígenes, one of the leading insurance groups in Argentina.

Mindlin is a member of the Americas Society Chairman’s International Advisory Council (CIAC). He also serves as chairman and founder of “Todo Por Los Chicos” and Fundación Pampa charity organizations. In the past, Mindlin has served as chairman of Tzedaká, the largest charity foundation within the Jewish community in Argentina.

Mindlin holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Universidad del CEMA (Center of Macroeconomic Studies). He also holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires.
